PARKING
Parking at the Area Campana is highly recommended. It is the city’s largest car park, located 700/800 meters from the IAT tourist office, with free spots always available (except for the last week of August and the first half of November, as it is occupied by other events).
There are also car parks, not all of them free, in Piazza Marconi, the Francolini car park, via Piave, via Cagnacci, and near the hospital. These are closer to the center, but for this very reason, it is often difficult to find empty spaces (especially during markets, events, or on weekends). We also note the car park up by the Convent of the Capuchin Friars, where however there are few spaces available, in addition to those reserved for historic center residents.
Coaches can drop passengers off at the start of via Pascoli, on the Town Hall side or on the opposite side in front of the hospital pharmacy. Afterwards, the vehicle can be parked at the Area Campana or in the city’s industrial zone.
Campers/RVs can park and stay overnight without services at the Area Campana, or alternatively, with services for a fee, at the Santarcamper camper area.
VISITING DAYS AND MARKETS
Please note that on Thursday afternoons, by tradition, all businesses and shops are closed.
Weekly markets are held on Monday mornings (smaller) and Friday mornings (larger). On Saturday mornings, there is also another one featuring local fruit and vegetable producers. On the first Sunday of the month, the antiques market is held. All of them are concentrated in Piazza Ganganelli, and the larger ones also extend to the adjacent streets.
